Yesterday was Dragon Boat Day in HK.  Rather than face the crowds we took Dobeeboo out for a long walk in the Pok Fu Lam country park. Starting from The Peak, where D usually gives a good fright to a few mainland chinese tourists, we made our way down to Aberdeen. This is an easy 2.5 hour walk along country park roads. For June the weather was cool and pleasant - a nice break from the normal muggy, hot conditions.

Dobeeboo loves sticks! If she spots a prime piece of timber, no matter how big it is, she will pick it up and carry them on her walks stopping now and then to sink her teeth in and break them down to nothing... Plus they also make for a fun and impromptu  game of tug o war!

Dobeeboo won't pass up an opportunity to cool off when the weather is hot and humid.

Dobeeboo, as you can plainly see, is a dog and this site was created to share stories and pictures about her.  We are getting a bit of a late start on sharing her tail as Dobeeboo is already 9 years old and has patches of grey just like her human companions. She's a black labrador, originally  from Canada, but now residing  on Lamma Island in Hong Kong. Passers by on her walks are immediately taken in by her waging tail and sweet smile. If you dont ever get a chance to meet her we hope you will be taken in by posts here.
